We have a range of Self Drive boats to offer, each supplied with all the necessary safety gear, free fuel and a thorough briefing, with the latest information on where the fish are biting!

You are free to explore white sandy beaches, do your own personal Dolphin watch, spot the Little Penguins, Turtles, Sea Eagles and various other birds and sea life and you can catch some of the wide variety of fish.

We are located at the last JETTY on the breakwall which runs from the centre of Nelson Bay foreshore beach (near the Dolphin Watch Cafe).

• PAY ID is our preferred payment method. It's fast easy & secure.
• BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS must be made by phone or in person - text or voice messages are unacceptable. Cancellation fees may apply.
• Cancellation Policy: 48 Hours before the day of hire there is no charge, within this period, there may be a partial charge and cancellation on the day of will result in a full charge for the boat.
• We do have a designated area of operation - from Nelson Bay Marina west as far as Soldiers Point.
• No Cooking on any boat - bring snacks & picnic food to enjoy on your cruise.
• Alcohol can be taken in MODERATION, excessive amounts of alcohol may result in termination of the booking. The driver of the vessel must be under 0.05 same as road rules.
• Please be on time as the boat may be on hire to another party after your cruise so no extra time can be given.
• As we are an outdoor activity, weather plays a significant role so the hire can be cancelled or changed by Nelson Bay Boat Hire before or during your hire.
